Forced limitations are crazy fuel for the creative fire. Yet I am intrigued, I cannot listen away (read away as the case is tonight).
That you can have two creative lives is amazing. As time goes on, I feel you might find the two converge: as a dance instructor you have amazing facilities available to you while as a private artist, you can be more selective as to your medium (hopefully never expelling someone for being "too heavy on top"). But I may be wrong about the convergence. I hope for a long career to prove either case.
My most poignant advise I have (reading in reverse chronological order, and having read of your injury before, in the timeline of your blog, it had occurred (this, like double parenthetic, is very Doctor Who)) is that some of the strongest and most original work you can do will come out of your limitations. I have a couple of anecdotes to share, both involving a former dance partner Mari, that I can share. When we sit down over margaritas, remind me of Mari, but also of the piece "2:10am".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4996989778564327429.post-16946385050436025182013-04-25T04:59:17.134-07:002013-04-25T04:59:17.134-07:00Yes its really need to improve your Choreography ...Yes its really need to improve your Choreography skills.
